The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has recognized the annual International Travel Expo HCMC, or ITE HCMC, as a national travel event to attract international buyers to the country.

The Spanish Government has provided 150,000 EUR to central Thua Thien-Hue province to research culture, historical sites, tourism and the environment in Hue City.
 

Saigontourist Travel Service Company has so far this year welcomed nearly 18,300 visitors on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (MICE) tours, a year-on-year increase of 17 percent. 

The East-West Economic Corridor, in reality a 1,450-kilometer-long road, connects Danang City in Vietnam with large cities of Laos and Thailand. The corridor has potentials in historical, cultural, and ecological tourism. Nowadays, a traveler has only to buy a packaged tour along the corridor to explore natural beauties of many countries, or even design a trip by himself.

The authorities will allow all foreign tourist vehicles, including right-hand-drive ones, to enter the country via all border gates soon in an effort to attract more travelers, especially from neighboring countries.
