On September 29, Ha Long Bay has come up to the second position from the third in the vote for seven New World Wonder organised by the New Open World.

The 7th annual conference of the Council for Promotion of Tourism in Asia (CPTA) opened in Hanoi on Oct. 5 to seek ways to develop the regional tourism network.

As many as 100 representatives of tourism associations, travelling businesses and media from Japan and the Republic of Korea arrived in southern coastal Nha Trang on October 1 to study the city’s tourism potential and products.

Windsor Plaza Hotel and the German Business Association will organise the traditional annual German beer festival, Oktoberfest, from October 8 to 12 in HCM City. The five-day festival will offer a chance for beer-lovers to enjoy German music, dancing, food, and traditional games.

A 13 million USD project is expected to protect the environment in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, including the city’s iconic Hoai River , in the next two years, said Truong Van Bay, vice chairman of the city’s People’s Committee.
