ASEAN Tourism Awards honors 20 localities, tourism businesses of Vietnam

– On 19 January, in Cambodia, the ASEAN Tourism Awards Ceremony took place within the framework of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2022.

The ASEAN Tourism Awards is an annual event held to honor localities and tourism businesses with high-quality tourism products and services, contributing to the sustainable development of tourist destinations in ASEAN region. This is also an opportunity for tourism businesses as well as local tourism organizations to market their tourism products and contribute to promoting the national tourism brand.

At this year's award ceremony, Vietnam is honored to have 20 recipients:

1. The 8th ASEAN Green Hotel Standard

- H’Mong Village (Ha Giang Province)

- Vedana Lagoon Resort & Spa (Thua Thien Hue Province)

- Minera Hot Spring Binh Chau Resort (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province)

- Amiana Resort (Khanh Hoa Province)

- Can Tho Ecolodge (Can Tho City)

2. The 3rd ASEAN Clean Tourists City Standard

- Ha Long City (Quang Ninh Province)

- Da Lat City (Lam Dong Province)

- Vung Tau City (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province)

3. The 3rd ASEAN MICE Venue Standard

a. Category meeting room

- Aristo Hotel (Lao Cai Province)

- Flamingo Cat Ba Hotel & Resort (Hai Phong City)

- Silk Path Hue Hotel (Thua Thien Hue Province)

- Anya Quy Nhon Hotel (Binh Dinh Province)

- Pullman Vung Tau Hotel (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province).

b. Category exhibition venue

- Flamingo Dai Lai (Vinh Phuc Province)

- FLC Sam Son (Thanh Hoa Province)

- Vinpearl South Hoi An (Quang Nam Province)

- Dalat Palace (Lam Dong Province)

- Pytopia Center (Phu Yen Province)

4. The 3rd ASEAN Sustainable Tourism Award

- Urban category: Hue Ancient Capital – A destination of 5 world heritages (Thua Thien Hue Province)

- Rural category: Thai Hai Reserve Area of Ecological Houses-on-stilts Village (Thai Nguyen Province).
